Articles on: Pickup Delivery Date

A specific date is designated for specific products.

If your business aims to restrict specific dates for particular products, you can effortlessly achieve this using the Shipping Rules feature.

For instance, if you have summer products, you may only wish to sell them during the summer season. You can set up the shipping rule as follows:

Step 1: Create a shipping rule that restricts the selection of dates for that product.

Go to the Shopify backend -> Apps -> Pickup Delivery Date

Then proceed to the Shipping Rules section and create a new rule.

In the shipping rule form, you can configure the condition and action as follows:

Priority: 2 (This rule will be set to a lower priority than the rule enabling dates for these products)
From Date: You can utilize the current date.

To Date: You can leave it empty to ensure that no dates are allowed for selecting these products at any time.
Shipping Methods: You can select the shipping methods that you want to apply for this rule.
Conditions: You can select the Product Tags or Product Collection that match the products for which you want to impose limitations.
Shipping Rule Type: Select "Shipping is not permitted on the specified date".

Step 2: Create a shipping rule that permits the selection of dates for that product.

The rule should be the same as the rules in step 1. However, we need to update the information as follows:

Priority: 1 (This rule will be set to a higher priority than the rule disabling dates for these products)
From Date and To Date: should belong to the dates during which you want to allow the selection of dates for these products.
Shipping Rule Type: Select "Shipping is allowed on the specified date.".
