# Complete or Close a Return Request

### Overview
Once the return or exchange process is finished, update the request to the appropriate final status.

**Step 1:** Open **Returns**.

**Step 2:** Select the completed request.

**Step 3:** Verify that the return, exchange, or refund has been processed.

**Step 4:** Use the available completion or closing action.

**Step 5:** Confirm the status has been updated.

Keep completed requests available for future reference and reporting.
