# Configure Return & Exchange Automation

### Overview
Automation can reduce manual work when handling eligible requests.

**Step 1:** Open **Settings > Automation**.

**Step 2:** Review the available automation options.

**Step 3:** Select the action you want to automate.

**Step 4:** Configure the conditions.

**Step 5:** Enable the automation.

**Step 6:** Save your settings.

The current Shopify App Store lists **Automation Approval** as an **Ultimate plan feature**.
