# Create Return Rules

### Overview
Return rules determine when customers can request a return.
You can create different policies for different products or situations.

**Step 1:** Open **Settings > Rules**.

**Step 2:** Create a new return rule.

**Step 3:** Define the conditions for the rule.

**Step 4:** Select the products or conditions to which the rule applies.

**Step 5:** Configure the return eligibility requirements.

**Step 6:** Save the rule.


The App Store confirms that the app supports custom policies, non-returnable items, return windows, and different rules for different products.
