# Customize the Return Page URL

### Overview
Yanet Returns & Exchanges allows you to customize the URL of your Return Page to make it easier for customers to access and remember.
However, when customizing the URL, you need to follow Shopify's URL requirements. Some special characters are not supported and may cause the URL to be invalid.

### How to Customize the Return Page URL
**Step 1:** Go to **Yanet Returns & Exchanges** in your Shopify Admin.

**Step 2:** Open **Return Page**.

**Step 3:** Find the **Return Page URL** section.

**Step 4:** Enter your preferred URL path.

**Step 5:** Save your changes.

**Step 6:** Open the URL to make sure it works correctly.

### URL Requirements
When creating a custom URL, **avoid using** special characters such as:
* `&`
* `*`
* `?`
* `.`
* `/`
These characters may not be accepted by Shopify when used in the Return Page URL.
For example:
❌ `return&exchange`
❌ `return*exchange`
❌ `return?exchange`
❌ `return.exchange`
❌ `return/exchange`

### Recommended URL Format
We recommend using a **hyphen (****`-`****)** to separate words in your URL.
For example:
✅ `return-exchange`
✅ `return-request`
✅ `product-return`
Using hyphens helps keep your URL simple and avoids errors caused by unsupported special characters.

| **Tip:** If your custom Return Page URL is not working, check whether it contains any unsupported special characters. Replace them with hyphens (`-`) and try saving the URL again.
