# Generate a Label Layout from a Photo

### **Overview**
The **Generate from photo** feature lets you create a label layout by uploading a photo of an existing label.
The app uses **OCR (no AI credits)** to recognize the label and match layout boxes to the image.

###### Step 1 — Create a Template
Go to **Templates → Create Template**.

###### Step 3 — Check the Generated Layout
The app analyzes the photo and creates layout boxes based on the detected content.
Review the generated elements and their positions.

| **Note:** Unclear text may be added as **Custom Text**, so review the generated content carefully.

###### Step 4 — Adjust the Template
Move or resize the elements as needed.
You can also add, remove, or edit components to match your original label.

###### Step 5 — Save and Test
Save the template and generate a test label.

### **Result**
The template is ready to use for future label generation.

| **Tip:** Use a clear, straight photo with good lighting for more accurate layout detection.
