# How to meet Google and Yahoo's email sender requirements in 2024

In a move to safeguard user inboxes, [Gmail](https://blog.google/products/gmail/gmail-security-authentication-spam-protection/) and [Yahoo Mail](https://blog.postmaster.yahooinc.com/post/730172167494483968/more-secure-less-spam) announced a new set of requirements for senders effective from February 2024. To comply with the updated sender requirements, custom email senders are required to:

1. Implement a DMARC policy for your domain, with a minimum setting of **p=none**.

2. If your DMARC policy is set to **quarantine** or **reject**, you must add a DKIM signature to your DNS. The Back in Stock app will auto-generate these values for you. If not, please contact us for support.
