# Manage Purchase Order Statuses

## Overview
Update the status of a purchase order as it moves through your purchasing process.

### Step 1
Open a purchase order.

### Step 2
Select the new status.
Examples:
* Draft
* Ordered
* Completed
* Cancelled

The purchase order status is updated.
