# Understand the Barcode Label Workflow

### **Overview**
The basic Yanet Retail Barcode Labels workflow consists of five steps:

###### Step 1 — Prepare Product Data
Make sure your products have the information required by your label, such as SKU, barcode, price, or variant data.

###### Step 2 — Prepare Barcode & SKU
Use existing barcode/SKU values, generate new ones, or import them via CSV.

###### Step 3 — Create a Template
Create a reusable label design that matches your physical label size.

###### Step 4 — Generate Labels
Go to **Generate & Print**, select products, choose a template, and set the label quantity.

###### Step 5 — Print & Verify
Print the labels and check the layout and barcode readability before printing a large batch.

### **Quick Workflow**
**Prepare Data → Create Template → Select Products → Generate → Print**
**Best Practice:** Always test a new template with a small batch before printing a large quantity.
