# Use Metafields to Set Default Label Quantity

###### Step 1
Go to **Settings → Printing**.

Enable **Use metafields to set default label quantity**.

###### Step 3
Configure the relevant metafield.

Save the settings.

### **Result**
The configured metafield can be used as the default label quantity when generating labels.

| **Tip:** This is useful when different products require different default quantities.
